All of us at Amakhala Game Reserve would like to thank you for your amazing support over the last year! We also wish you a happy and prosperous 2020 and look forward to working with you this year.
Amakhala’s Conservation Levy, launched in February 2018, continues to be an essential key to our success in offering guests amazing sustainable ecotourism experiences. It contributes significantly to the protection of our wildlife by funding our multi-layered anti-poaching measures and dedicated rhino monitoring program, and supports our award-winning conservation education programs that reach more than 2000 children each year.
On 1 March 2020, the Conservation Levy will change slightly from R125 to R140 per adult, and reduce from R75 to R70 per child. These changes will only apply to guests staying at Amakhala lodges with a check-in date from 1 October 2020 onwards.
We would like to thank all our guests and tour operators for continuing to enable us through the Conservation Levy to protect our precious wildlife, especially our rhino, and to educate and inspire the conservationists of the future.
